Present days

In 2009, thanks to a long-term effort of the Museum of Romani Culture and Roma Activists, the state purchased the former camp and subsequently in 2012–2016 the National Pedagogical Museum and Library of Jan Amos Komenský built the Memorial and permanent exhibitions. The Museum of Romani Culture also participated in the preparation. At the beginning of 2018, the premises of the memorial were taken over by the Museum of Romani Culture and work on the completion of the exhibition began.
